THE PROJECT.
Every revolution begins with a spark.
And it was a chance sighting of a rare Porsche 904 at the thrilling Modena Cento Ore Rally for classic race cars that kickstarted the AESTEC project.
Since its creation, Porsche has been strongly affiliated with motorsports with some significant but oversee able racing success for Formulas 2 & 1 in the late 50s - early 60s.

As the successor to the 718 RennSport Kurz, the 904 marked the first Porsche engineered with a full fibreglass body bonded onto a ladder chassis; a dual-purpose road legal race car.
Significance // an ultra lightweight & aerodynamic body combined with a powerful mid-engine layout.
Result // a highly successful race car

Only 110 cars were manufactured to meet GT homologation racing rules, with demand far exceeding production; just enough to be unforgettable, and rare enough to become legendary.
